Blade repair & rotor services

The blades on a wind turbine, onshore or offshore, are subject to many different forms of impact during each rotation; such as bird strikes, lightning strikes, rain, hail, insects and even sand in the passing wind. Even without any actual impact, surface roughness caused by minor pitting and particle accretion, are enough to impede on turbine performance and asset productivity. Reiterating the importance of regular inspections to identify these hazards before they develop further.

Our IRATA qualified rope access technicians offer a responsive and cost-effective solution to any blade repair requirements by having a positioning advantage to carry out any blade repairs in-situ and in accordance with the turbine’s OEM specifications.
